Essay Contest









Compete for a chance to present at Pursuit 2025 and win a $100 cash prize!

It is our hope to see Gen Z be part of a movement that recognizes God’s good design for life and love. Our Essay Contest will bring the talents and passions of Gen Z to our youth conference this year!

The top three contest winners will be invited to present at the Pursuit Youth Conference, November 15, and claim up to $100 in prizes. Any other essays published on our website will win $25 each.

Spelling Bee

2025-26 GRACE HOMESCHOOL SPELLING BEE 

Does your child love words and language?  Pay particular attention to detail?  Love a challenge?  An answer of “yes” to any of these questions means you have a potential Spelling Bee champion in your midst.  Now is the time to register your 4th - 8th grade student in the 2025-26 GRACE Homeschool Spelling Bee to be held on Sat., Jan. 10, 2026 at 60 Port Sheldon St SW in Grandville. (In case of inclement weather our make up date is Sat, Jan 17th) For more information or to register, please contact Alisha Doezema or Amanda Venlet at events.gracehsa@gmail.com. After registering your student and submitting payment, each speller will receive a 450 word list to study. Each student can participate for a $25 fee. There will be cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners! The first and second place winners of this Bee will go on to a Regional Competition, and the winner from that Bee goes on to the Greater Grand Rapids Bee, which leads to... The National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C.!!  Hope to see you there!
